Error Codes
Cove reports faults as a six-digit service code, sometimes alongside a short label such as FE1 or MOT4. Below are the codes we encounter most often, what each one is actually reporting, and the first thing worth trying before you call anyone.
One rule covers nearly all of them: switch the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds, then retest. A code that returns is reporting a genuine fault.

Almost every code responds to the same first step: switch the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds, then retest. A code that comes back is reporting a real fault, not a glitch. FE1 covers the fill circuit, and it appears in the first three minutes of a cycle. Start with the obvious: is the water supply valve behind or under the unit fully open?
