A refrigerator that repeatedly trips its dedicated circuit breaker isn't something to reset over and over in the hope the problem resolves itself. A breaker trips because it is detecting a genuine electrical fault, and that detection is the breaker performing exactly the protective function it was installed to provide — not a breaker being oversensitive.
Before any diagnosis: a refrigerator that will not stay powered is warming up, and that is the thing with a clock on it.
Keep the doors shut — a full Sub-Zero holds temperature for hours untouched. If the trips are frequent enough that it cannot run, move perishables and anything frozen to another appliance or a cooler now rather than after the diagnosis. Frozen food that has thawed should not be refrozen, and that decision is easier made early than discovered later.

The most common is the compressor drawing excessive current during startup, typically from internal winding issues — resistance in the motor windings has changed such that it draws far more than it should at the moment it starts from rest. A short circuit elsewhere in the internal wiring produces the same symptom by a different route.
Before concluding the compressor has failed, confirm the breaker is not simply undersized, or shared with other high-draw appliances. Sub-Zero units call for a dedicated circuit precisely because refrigeration compressors draw high current at startup, and if that requirement was not followed at installation, other kitchen appliances running at the same time can cause trips that have nothing to do with the refrigerator.
Two more circuit-side possibilities worth knowing:
If the unit still trips when it is demonstrably the only thing on that circuit, that points squarely at the appliance. Worth noting too whether the control panel has been behaving oddly, since electrical faults rarely announce themselves through one symptom alone.
Do not keep resetting it. Each reset puts the same excessive current through whatever is faulty, compounding the damage rather than revealing anything new. A breaker that has tripped twice for the same reason will trip a third time.
Do not fit a larger breaker. It is the one "fix" that turns an appliance fault into a fire risk — the breaker is sized to protect the wiring, not to accommodate a fault. If anyone suggests it, the answer is no.
Most refrigerator faults can wait for a convenient appointment. This one is different on two counts: the appliance is not keeping food while it is off, and the fault gets worse with every attempt to run it. Between those, it is worth treating as a this-week problem rather than a when-convenient one.
No. Refrigeration startup current is exactly the load extension leads handle worst, and if the appliance is genuinely faulty you have moved the fault to a circuit with less protection.
By what you reset. A GFCI has its own reset button, at the outlet or on the breaker itself; a standard breaker is reset at the panel. Which one you have been resetting is worth mentioning when booking.
Heat raises the current a compressor draws and lowers the margin a breaker has. That combination can push a marginal fault over the line seasonally, and it usually means the fault was already there.
Not necessarily — a start relay or capacitor failing produces the same startup-current symptom and is a far smaller repair. That is a good reason to diagnose rather than assume the worst.
If it will not stay running anyway, yes — leave the breaker off, empty it, and prop the doors ajar so it does not develop odours while it stands. That is preferable to a cycle of resets.
